Dublin Sound Lab celebrates 10 years of platforming the very latest cutting-edge trends in new music, and bringing the newest and best in Irish and international music and technology in the contemporary genre, with its annual festival MUSIC CURRENT.

Dublin Sound Lab’s annual Music Current festival returns this April (8-11) at Project Arts Centre, with a full programme of six electrifying concerts, multiple workshops and panel discussions over four days. This pure contemporary music festival hosts a concert programme of Irish premieres and international premieres, as well as four commissions written specially for the 2026 edition.

This 10th edition, has a strong international theme, with soloists, ensembles and composers from Poland, France, Austria, Germany, USA, Argentina and Ireland. Expect a strong multi-media element with works for live instruments, interactive electronics and video, live sound spatialisation, choreographed instrumentalists and audio-visual performances.
